Cancellation Policy
There are costs associated with every booking, making cancellation fees a necessity.
If you are unable to attend your appointment, there are several ways to avoid fees:
-
Switch to a telehealth appointment.
-
Reschedule to an alternative available time within 48 (business) hours.
-
Provide 7 days notice of cancellation.
If none of the above are possible, the following cancellation fees will apply:
2-6 days notice:................50% of fee
Less than 24h notice:......100% of fee
Please Note:
Medicare and private health insurance do not cover cancellation fees.
Fee assistance is available from various sources, and may or may not involve a gap fee, depending on the nature of the funding and the service provided. Please see details below and contact me if you would like further information.
Medicare:
NB: rebates are higher if you have reached the Medicare safety net threshold; If you’re part of a family or couple, you can register as a family to combine your costs, and will likely reach the threshold sooner. You can check your threshold amount at any time through either your MyGov/Medicare online account or app.
